Q. Are there any age restrictions for Nae Limits activities?
Yes, sorry. Due to the very nature of our activities we have applied age limits for health and safety reasons. In most cases, the minimum age of 12 years applies however this is at the discretion of the guides who will judge the child according to other factors ie, height, weight and build. Quad biking and certain canyons do have age restrictions, please enquire on booking. Please call our office team for more information on individual age limits.
Q. What equipment do Nae Limits provide?
All specialist kit and equipment is provided by us - all you need to bring with you is a sense of adventure! In some cases, a spare pair of trainers may be suggested, however you will be informed of this on booking. For all water sports we will provide you with:
- A wetsuit
- A neoprene jacket
- Neoprene booties - river bugs only
- Neoprene Socks - white water rafting & canyoning
- Buoyancy Aid
- Helmet
- Neoprene gloves when required
Q. Will I be warm ?
Yes! Neoprene jackets offer an additional 5 mm of neoprene to the core of your body. In addition gloves and socks are available if you're feeling extra chilly.
Q. Is prior experience necessary?
No, (unless stated). At Nae Limits we strive to bring outdoor sports to everyone and for this reason you don't have to be an expert at anything. Just confidence and a willingness to have a good time is all we ask.
Q. Are the activities safe?
At Nae Limits we aim to make your experience the very safest adventure possible. All of our guides are very highly trained and experienced in all areas of their sport, however you are partaking in an adventure sport and therefore this does carry some element of risk. If you are at all concerned regarding the nature of your activity please call us on 08450 178177 and we can let you speak directly to your instructor who will answer your questions fully.
Q. Do you offer discounts for groups?
Large group bookings are always welcomed by Nae Limits and while we are happy to negotiate a discount we do not wish to compromise safety and instructor to client ratios. In the majority of cases we offer a 10% discount for groups of 12 or over.
Q. Do I need transport when I am with Nae Limits?
We do suggest keeping your transport with you at all times during your day. In some cases you will be required to make your own way to activities from our centre and public transport is not the best! Transport can be arranged by Nae Limits - please email us for more information.
Q. Just where exactly are you?
This is a question we get asked time and time again. Nae Limits is infact the very closest outdoor adventure centre to Glasgow (1hr 30) and Edinburgh (1hr 15). We are located just off the A9 between Dunkeld and Pitlochry and although we enjoy a rural setting we are within striking distance of great nightlife.
Q. What is the process for booking?
50% deposit will be required per person in order to secure your booking. The balance of activities is payable in full, 14 days before your activity date. Provisional bookings can be held in the diary for just 14 days. Payment can be made by cheque, cash or credit card.
Q. What is the Nae Limits cancellation policy?
All reductions in numbers must be notified by email or written letter. Unfortunately we cannot return deposits. Outside of 14 days no charge will be made for reduced numbers, apart from lost deposit. However within 14 days all members of the party will be liable for the full payment.
