Activities
Whether it's a land or water activity, Nae Limits offer the very best in extreme/adventure sports. The wide choice of activities plus the unique venues mean that your experience with us will not leave you disappointed.
Activities are aimed at all levels of ability and skill. Prior experience is not a pre-requisite for an adventure experience however a sense of fun helps ! Activities can be taken over an hour, half or full day. All of them can be combined together to maximise your time here in Perthshire. Take a look at some of the individual activity pages and see what makes you tick !
Nae Limits have something to suit everyone however here's just a few last questions to ask yourself before booking with any activity provider
Questions to ask yourself ....
- Is the activity provider insured?
Nae Limits is fully protected by Public Liability Insurance. We employ a full time Health & Safety Officer to ensure you are in the safest possible hands on our activities.
- Are the instructors fully qualified?
All of our guides are fully qualified in their specialised area of instruction. As well as an in house training scheme our staff have allocated training budgets to ensure their qualifications are kept right up to date.
- Is your activity provider ABTA bonded?
Did you know that if your activity provider is supplying you with more than 2 components of your activity break they must be bonded by the Association of British Travel Agents. i.e Activity, Transport and Accommodation. Nae Limits are not travel agents (although we do like our telephone headsets) so we will only ever provide you with your activities and transport when required. We will certainly help put you in touch with a place to stay but as far as booking goes, we do stick just to our activities.
- Is your activity provider AALA registered ?
AALA (Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority) is a regulatory body set up to police the outdoor activity centres who provide activities for under 18's without their parents present. Rigourous measures are put in place to ensure centres comply with guidelines on child protection, health & safety and accident limitation. Ask to see the license if you are unsure.
- Does the transport of your party confirm to current DVLA guidelines ?
When you climb on a vehicle for courtesy transport, is your vehicle roadworthy and does your driver hold a PSV licence. Guidelines are now more stringent and is worth while checking you are being appropriately looked after.
So thats it. You,ve checked the boxes now time to choose your activities .....the fun part !
