why do it?
Duckies (or Adventure Kayaks) provide the ultimate thrill for people looking for a cross between White Water Rafting and Kayaking. Paddled by two people along the same stretch of white water as a raft, the aim is to keep in control and in a straight line. An experienced white water kayaker will provide safety and guidance alongside you. These inflatable crafts are easily manoevered around the water, enabling you to hit all the rapids on your way down the river.
when can i do it?
Duckies run throughout the summer months of April - September and are a great option for small groups. We can take a maximum of 6 people at a time guaranteeing thrills and spills a plenty!!
anything else?
Duckies is a half day activity. All specialist equipment is provided, all you need is a sense of adventure!
Previous experience is not necessary for Duckies - it is a great activity that can be enjoyed by the total beginner or seasoned paddler.
Min age. 14yrs, under 18's should be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
