why do it?
White Water Rafting is THE most popular and most social adrenalin sports. White water rafting is not just getting you down the river, it's a way of life for us. Year round you will catch us out and about, making the most of the constantly changing rapids and exhilarating stretches of white water in Perthshire.
White-Water Rafting are large inflatable crafts specially constructed to carry up to 6 -8 adrenalin-seeking participants down rivers of varying difficulty - from the tame to the wildly exciting, we have something to offer everyone.
Each boat is expertly guided by one of our Nae Limits instructors who is familiar with the river and it's obstacles. On your journey you will be encouraged to work together as a team to bump and glide your way along the rivers natural course, whilst enjoying all the wild and wacky rapids for which the Scottish rivers are famous.
when can i do it?
MON, WEDS, FRI, SAT & SUN. PRIVATE BOAT HIRE AVAILABLE.
Rivers we paddle include:
- River Tay - Yr round (min age 10 yrs)(Family rafting sessions 6yrs+)
- River Tummel - June - Sept (min age 18 yrs)
- River Braan - Oct - March, dep on river levels (min age 18 yrs)
- River Orchy - Oct - March, dep on river levels (min age 18 yrs)
Anything else?
All safety equipment and transport to/from our centre is included
White Water Rafting provides a fantastic half day activity and is ideally suited as part of a Multi-Activity Day.
EVENING TRIPS on the Tummel and a BBQ also available on request. We'll bring the Bangers, you bring a sense of fun and adventure.
Price?
River Tay - £45pp (£40pp for groups)
River Tummel - £50pp (£45pp for groups)
River Braan - £60pp (as above)
River Orchy - £100pp, full day trip including lunch
Evening trips - as above, dependant on river rafted.
