Working for Nae Limits

The busy season for Nae Limits is normally between April and October, therefore our recruitment process normally begins in December/January for people to start between March and May. We are very lucky in that year after year, most of our guides will come back. In 2010, we only had to recruit 2 new faces. Everyone else is returning for another year or season.

Positions we are currently Recruiting for are:

River Guide(Level 2 Unrestricted)-Driving license essential.

Please send your CV and covering letter to info@naelimits.co.uk

Outdoor Guide ( Seasonal) - SPA Required

Please send your CV and covering letter to Kirstin@naelimits.co.uk

We realise that our staff are the key to our success. We look for well presented, excellent communicators with the best qualifications or experience. We can afford to be fussy, so we are. Red eyed, smelly, dredded monsters need not apply!

Here are some of the key postitions within the company:

Activities Guides

We do usually look for first class rafting or canyoning experience or qualifications. Bridging exams and assessments can be made to assist you with getting the qualifications that you would need to work with us, but we do need people who have managed to do the ground work already. Before you are able to run any of our activites you will have to complete an in-house training course and learn the Nae Limits way of doing things. We do need people to be able to get up to speed as quickly as possible and anyone already starting the process will know that you cannot become a raft guide over night.

If you already have oodles of experience that you can pull (or paddle) on, we will reward you accordingly. We also recruit for Head and Senior Guide positions for those looking for the next step.

Occasionally we do take on Trainee guides. As you can imagine there is a huge amount of competition for these roles and there are not many of them about. At the moment, Nae Limits work with Perth College offering a work experience and scholarship scheme. In which we would hope to assist those new in the industry to gain some quality experience and if they show true promise, they will be offered a Trainee placement with the team.

Office Positions

No Activities experience, but wish to work in the great outdoors? All year round we need people to help run our very busy booking office and everything else that goes with being successful at what we do. This is an extremely varied role and demands a certain type of personality in order to succeed. One day you would be helping drive for the activities team, the next you could be helping with an exhibition at a big event, then you may spend the next 3 weeks on data entry.

You will be the first point of contact for customers so first class communication skills are a definite must and any sales training would be a bonus. You must be an excellent juggler with the organisation skills of a prefectionist, but able to roll with the changes and punches of working in a small fast moving team. Not easy, we know. We will show you how it works and the best way to approach things, but you do need to believe in team work. Just as it says on our t-shirts "Work Hard and Play Harder!!"

Remember; We don`t look for people who just want jobs, we look for individuals that will be an asset to the team. It also helps if you are a little bit crazy :-)

If you think you have what it takes, please send a copy of your CV with a covering letter describing why you think you would be able to make a difference to kirstin@naelimits.co.uk
