White Water Rafting - The River Tay, Scotland

The River Tay is one of the only rivers in the UK that has white water rafting available all year round. It is a natural river, so the water levels will go up and down with the seasons. Making it perfect for the first white water rafting experience in the summer, but available to nutters and experienced rafters only in the winter months.

River Tay (Grade 2/3- Summer and Grade 3/5- Winter )

The stunning 6/8 mile stretch that we cover from Aberfeldy to Grandtully is great for rookie rafters. You will learn the fundamentals of paddling, work as a team and in true Nae limits styley we will give the opportunity to play games as much as possible, get a bit of competiton going and off course throw each other in.

We do need a minimum of 6 people to run a trip, but let us know as there may be others you can group up with...

The second half of the river, we take on the white water rapids at Grandtully. These rapids are famous for the kayak slalom championships and are bound to get your pulse going.

(Please note that due to a gentlemans agreement with the fishermen, rafting is not available on Tuesdays and Thursdays)
