White Water Rafting - River Tummel, Scotland

The river Tummel is a dam released river which releases at weekends between June and the end of September. The release means that we can have excellent water levels even when the sun has been shining and the normal scottish rain has stayed away for a while.

Each trip last about 3.5 hours. The River Tummel is a great white water rafting experience for a beginners or someone who just famcies that next step. The river grading is not huge, but it is a technical river, making it pretty interesting on the way down. If your pulse is not fully racing by the end of the trip, we are sure that the 2 tier waterfall at the end will get you going.

River Tummel - Grade 3/4 (depending on release).
