White Water Mambos
What are they ?
The mambo is the ultimate all round sit on kayak. They are stable, manoerverable and easy to use. Whether you choose one of our long gentle scenic trips with picnic and swimming stops or prefer to challenge yourself to paddle through grade 2/3 white water rapids... This kayak does the lot!
Your guide will coach you through the skills of kayak paddling and river reading to help you negotiate all that the white water throws at you. They will also work with you on rescue techniques and how to work as a team in troubled times, to ensure your river trip is safe but enjoyable.
As they are so easy to paddle, you can take on the white water rapids without the worry of tipping out (well not often anyway).
Unlike a normal white water kayak you do not have to spend hours learning how to drown (Eskimo roll) and we can normally get you up and running on the white water by the end of one session. A great achievement to highlight your adventure hioliday!
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays (subject to minimum group numbers).
