Located in the hills above Loch Tay is the hidden gem; Acharn Canyon, a natural water park offering an epic Canyoning trip. The canyon is packed with adventure, technical cliff jumps, rock slides and flumes, including a steep narrow slide that fires you from the exit point. Not forgetting the grand finale… a huge two-tier waterfall abseil, around 30m above the canyon’s base.

WHAT DO I NEED?

A sense of adventure and a basic level of fitness.

Swim wear, towel and an old pair of trainers that you don’t mind getting wet.

HOW LONG DOES THE ACTIVITY LAST?

We advise 4+ hours from start to finish, this includes safety briefing, gearing up, transporting, canyoning and sauna time. Expect to be wet for a minimum of 1+ hour.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

Min age of 14

Basic level of fitness

You must not exceed a 38 inch waist to fit the canyoning harness.

Please make us aware of any previous injuries or health issues that may impact your
experience.

WHERE DO I GO?

Please meet at the Tay Mouth Marina. You must be there 15 mins prior to your start time.

A group of ten senior soldiers went canyoning as part of a team-building exercise. Considering that some of those attending had been in the army for 30+ years, we needed something that would stretch us as we have conducted adventure activities all over the world. This experience was amazing, something none of us had done before and it hit the mark.

Upper Bruar Canyoning was amazing. We went as a family, not for the faint-hearted but safe as houses! We all had the best time but chickened out of the 10m jump. The 6m jump was soo much fun as was the abseiling. Thank you!!

Really great day out, we did white water tubing and it was so much fun. Beautiful scenery, got properly wet and cold and finished with some cliff jumping. Guides were just great, very laid back and funny, but clearly watching safety issues all the time, and super helpful with anyone who was struggling.

Went tubing and rafting here a few weeks ago and it was great, beautiful scenery and great fun in the raft/tube. All equipment and tuition is provided so it’s suitable for beginners. The tubing trip had (optional) cliff jumping which my kids loved. Guy and Jack looked after us all really well and kept us safe a d happy, especially my dare devil son! Would highly recommend to any other groups or familie

I booked a Stag weekend with Nae Limits for 14 guys. The team at Nae Limits were excellent the whole way through, from planning and advising on activities beforehand, right through to the weekend itself. The activity team were excellent and had everything on hand for us on the day. The whole group commented on how great the weekend had been, and we can't thank the team enough!
