Take your shot at the biggest sporting Clay Pigeon Shooting range in Scotland
Clay pigeon shooting is an exhilarating sport that involves shooting a firearm at flying targets known as clay pigeons or “clays”. Targets are launched into the air, simulating a bird in flight; it’s your job to shoot the target down.
Dunkeld County Clays (just off the A9) is the perfect countryside setting to test your aim. Beginners benefit from complete guidance from a patient, expert instructor. Once you learn the basics, you’ll be blasting clay targets like a pro! Seasoned shots can hone their skills with simulated pheasant, incoming duck and bolting rabbit. With 50 targets to choose from there’s something for all abilities.
While we encourage friendly competition, safety when handling guns is our utmost priority. Our experienced and qualified clay pigeon shooting instructors will give you a safety brief and teach you how to properly load and fire your gun. And most importantly, hit the target!
Wrap up warm. It can get chilly outdoors and keeping cosy will help you enjoy Scotland’s majestic views in comfort. You get 25 shots and are free to take your time. Many first-time shooters are stunned at how many targets they hit. You might even find it addictive!
Our sports photographer is on hand to immortalise your moment of glory (especially satisfying when you hit most targets in your group!).
Our clay pigeon experience is a spirited activity perfect for stag and hen parties, competitive couples and families with teenagers.
