Wilderness Challenge Team Bulding - What's Involved?
The Wilderness Challenge starts as soon as you arrive; a quick meet and greet with our professional guides will be followed by getting suited and booted in the appropriate gear. Then it’s time for your first team-building challenge, which will include guiding your own raft on the River Garry. Your teams will then be led to specific areas, situated on our remote section of National Trust Park land where you will be given allocated time to build fires, purify water for drinking, build structurally sound shelters and get back to your boat. We don’t like to give too much away, but any specifics can be explained on request.
We know the thought of floating down a river can be daunting for some, so we can offer a version which excludes the rafting element. We will, however, always encourage the rafting element as it is what makes this team-building challenge so unique (and of course lots of fun), plus it is extremely low-risk and does not involve getting wet.
Wilderness Challenge Team Building – What’s The Goal?
Our Wilderness Challenge is built around a Plan-Do-Review system. This focuses on creating an environment where discussion, learning from experience and development are the key ingredients to success. We promote transparency, leadership and problem-solving during the event. Work ranks and positions are left at the door, and everyone is put on a level playing field.
