Planning a Summer break ?
Are you hoping for a family adventure ? Unsure if you are able to travel and but needing have something to aim for as a fun activity in Scotland – we hear you. As a small business, in tourism and the outdoors – we have sat and watched the season start to slip through our hands hardly believing the fantastic weather that we can only dream of.
This year, Nae Limits will be 20 years old; but instead of celebrating this milestone birthday, we now find ourselves fastidiously planning our business survival.
The Scottish Government’s last month took us into PHASE 1 and gave us some indication of when we can look to re-open and as a business owner this was very welcome. This week all things going to plan, Scotland will move to PHASE 2 and sector announcements will be made on June 18th regarding guidelines each sector should adhere to.
In anticipation of PHASE 3 (early July), changes that are being implemented are as follows :
- A Flexible Booking Policy We will be reducing the deposit to 25%, with the full balance payable 7 days prior. You will have the option to amend your booking within a shorter timeframe (7 days) and transfer the credit to another activity should you need to make changes within a one week arrival window.
- An enhanced Safe Operating Environment New measures accounting for social distancing, increased disinfecting of equipment, transport considerations and dynamic risk assessment of guides to affect a rescue if needed have been drawn up. These are changing as new guidelines are released and a link to our “Safe Operating Procedures” will be published at least 14 days prior to our official opening date in July.
- Activities which do not compromise the Nae Limits experience Activities may be introduced in a phased approach and we are currently looking at the water and land activities that offer the best experience within the “new normal”. Currently all activities are scheduled to go ahead, with the exception of rafting which may be delayed until August.
For now, we will continue to follow the “4 R” plan put forward by Visit Scotland – Respond, Reset, Restart and Recover.
We absolutely wish and hope to see you over the summer and would be incredibly grateful of your support for small business in Scotland. Adventure Days out in Scotland is what we do and we can assure you we are working away to make this the very best post-lockdown experience you can wish for.
Wish to hold a date ? We are currently offering to hold all dates without a deposit, prior to the sector announcements on June 18th. If you have any questions feel free to email us at info@naelimits.co.uk
All of the activity information and Covid-19 updates are also included on our website – www.naelimits.co.uk
Thank you for your support
