The original, addictive adventure sport that will set your pulse racing.
Calling all adrenaline junkies!
One inflatable raft, a group of thrill seekers, some safety equipment, and an experienced guide – white water rafting is the original adventure sport.
The Nae Limits team have provided white water rafting adventures in Scotland for 20 years. From our prime location in Central Scotland, you can tackle the turbulent River Tay and relentless rapids of the River Tummel.
In Scotland, we get a lot of rain. Lethal for summer barbeques but perfect for white water rafting! As you can imagine, our native rivers are frothy with rapids, waterfalls and drops. And let’s not forget the craggy rocks that turn the river into an assault course. From June – September the dam release provides even choppier white water, narrow shoots and two-tier waterfalls to test your mettle on.
Our rafts are self-bailing, sturdy vessels and our guides are always on hand to help you navigate. They’ll brief you on what to do should you fall in—don’t panic, it’s part of the experience! Safety, speed and fun are the aim of the game.
White water rafting is suitable for a complete beginner and advanced adventurers. We provide 100% of the equipment and our friendly guides ensure you’re always safe. We have scenic paddles when the river is low or rapids that’ll set adrenaline junkie’s pulses racing.
Needless to say, expect to get wet on a white water rafting trip. If you’re on the fence about trying white water rafting—go for it! Many of our newbie adventurers surprise themselves with how much they enjoy the experience and how proficient they are navigating the rapids.
White water rafting can be more than a day out; it gives you outdoor skills and a serious confidence boost. At the end of the day a white-knuckle dive through Scotland’s white water and a thorough soaking with pals is a day well spent.
